• Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

  • I am Marianna, I was born in Venezuela, I was educated by a couple of doctors with different cultures but the same passion and love for The kitchen in a mixture of Italian and Lebanese roots. My university degree says that I am a dentist, although I have always been very attracted to medicine, now I wear my noblest outfit which is being a cook ... I trained in the Caribbean, I lived in Oxford and I flew to Barcelona… later I came across the Roast Club, making its kitchen my home and all its people, my family; who have taught me to grow and to give them much more than I imagined.

  • My name is Juan José but here in Barcelona most people know me as Juanito. I am from Argentina, I am 33 years old, graduated from industrial designer.

I started in 2011 to work in the hospitality industry in the kitchen of a friend's restaurant in Punta del Diablo, Uruguay, and it was there when I realized my vocation to attend and serve people. With the values of my parents, always very hosts of their own home, I formed my personality in the world of gastronomy. Several jobs later, living room, kitchen, store manager, I ended up doing a great team with my colleagues from the Roast Club. I usually laugh a lot, speak loudly and enjoy soccer matches with friends.

  • I'm John, I'm from Northern Ireland, that part of Northern Ireland that no one really knows has its own identity.

I have always been passionate about the brown liquid that fills our cups in the morning and helps us wake up, or digest the day.

I arrived in Spain in 2017 after an adventure of several months doing the Camino De Santiago through Europe. Being part of the Roast Club allows me not only to connect with the passion I have working in a friendly environment, surrounded by incredible people, but also to explore the creativity that comes from producing delicious coffee from all over the world.

Outside of work, I am a volunteer, an oil painter, and a writer. Hope to see you at the Roast Club, maybe you can bring a smile to my day, after having tried the coffee.

  • What's up, I'm Mercedez, or Mecha for friends, haha!

I was born in Argentina and became a coffee enthusiast during my adventure in Australia. Later, I landed at Roast Club, where customers aren't just customers, they're like my new international gang! Raised with the hospitality of my parents, who always had their home open to everyone, I found my vibe in the world of gastronomy. After trying a bit of everything, from the floor to the kitchen and administration, I ended up on the great team at Roast Club.

  • From the coffee fields of El Salvador to Catalonia, my passion for coffee has been a family legacy.

Although we no longer cultivate coffee in the family, the captivating stories of my great-grandmother, raised among the coffee fields, still live on.

This connection to my family's coffee roots has influenced my love for filter coffee, haha. Each cup is an opportunity to relive those stories and take me back to the roots that are part of my identity.

I am excited to share my passion for coffee in every service I provide within Roast Club, in this team that I now call home!

  • In 2019, I completed my hospitality training in Argentina, and in search of new adventures, I set out to explore various countries in Latin America and Europe. Ironically, my travels coincided with the winters of the chosen destinations. I spent two years without summer!

Since joining Roast Club, I've been amazed by the cheerful dynamics that characterize the entire team. I believe the amount of coffee we enjoy daily has something to do with that positive energy.
